Not every tired driveway needs replacing. Potholes, edge crumbling, a sunken section or a cracked corner can usually be cut out and put right, leaving the rest of the surface alone.
We will always tell you which of the two you are looking at. If the base has failed across the whole drive, patching it is money wasted and we will say so rather than sell you a repair that will fail again next winter.

Driveway Repairs, answered
Is a repair worth it or should I replace the drive?
If the damage is localised and the base is sound, a repair is good value. If the whole surface is spidered with cracks or moves underfoot, the base has gone and replacement is the sensible option.
Will a tarmac patch match the rest of the drive?
A new patch is always darker at first. It weathers towards the surrounding colour over the following months, though a slight difference in shade can remain.
Do you repair driveways you did not lay?
Yes. Most of our repair work is on driveways laid by somebody else.
